Crew
PAUL SAPIANO ( Writer / Director )
Paul Sapiano worked at RSA as an in-house runner for three years where he took all he had learned about The French New Wave and Semiotics at film school and applied it to such tasks as making tea and helping the caterers set up tables for lunch.
Paul then moved to Los Angeles where he directed a campaign for “Optometric Options” which won two Belding Bowls. On the strength on that campaign he went on to direct spots for clients such as Dell Computers, Bush’s Baked Beans and various state lotteries, among others.
Being a prolific writer, he has co-written and directed spots for “1-800-Dentist” which was honored at the 2000 AICP show; “Detrol” which won a Gold Effie for Best Healthcare Campaign of 2003; the PSA “Ken and Barbie” for MADD, which traveled as part of the Redcar “Verboten” Film festival; and the “Salonpas” spot on his reel, which hasn’t won any awards, but was pulled off the air in Hawaii for being too violent.
Paul enjoys dressing like a Pimp and is the proud owner of a gold plated 1970 Lincoln Continental, which incidentally is available for Rap Videos.

LARIMIE GARCIA ( Titles / Motion Design )
Larimie Garcia doesn’t exactly hail from The Swiss Design School for Well Behaved Boys. His first introduction to hand lettering and logo design was through graffiti art. That flamboyant vernacular stayed with him - as did the deep-seated compulsion to subvert, appropriate and reinvent - through a year at Art Center College of Design (he dropped out), followed by seven years in the pulse of LA’s music and entertainment scene. After that, Garcia contributed as a member of the MAC Cosmetics Colour Team doing make-up product development, a deliberate infiltration that he is now parlaying into his own experimental fashion photography and video direction. A career counselor might call his curious meanderings misguided and say that he “looks bad on paper.” But have no doubt that Garcia’s moves - however unorthodox - have all been willfully deliberate. And boy, does he look good on paper. And in packaging, pixels and more.
